Come one, Come all!
We are so glad you are interested in joining Willamette Girlchoir! We have four choirs in our organization: Sonnet, Serenade, Epic and Free Verse. If you are unfamiliar with our choirs, check out the ensemble descriptions and rehearsal times here.
Online registration opens August 10. If you are a returning student, your 2018-19 season should already be set up on your Charms account! You just need to update any address information, t-shirt size, etc and pay your registration fee.
If you are new to us, in addition to the online registration, singers must come to the Open House in September to sing for the director (group "auditions" for grades 2-6, and individual auditions for grades 7-12).
Our open house and audition night is Monday, September 10th from 5pm to 7pm at Parrish Middle School Choir Room. The choir room is on the north side of the building, the D St entrance and parking lot.
For grades 7-12, a small audition is required with the director of Epic. For audition materials, click here. To sing with Free Verse, our advanced group, sight reading and a short interview are also required.
If you are unable to attend the Open House, email us here to set up an appointment with the directors via email. Registration closes after the first month of the season. Mid-year registrations (transfers, new students, etc.) must have director approval.
This year we will be performing our December concert at Saint Marks Lutheran Church with a nationally known organist, an accomplished flutist (that is also a WGC alumnus!) and a hand bell choir.
