To all our WGC families: Your participation in our fundraising efforts for the remainder of the year is very important both for touring and future planning. Willamette Girlchoir depends on the volunteerism, commitment, and generosity of supporters like you in order to meet our budget. Please reach out to friends, family members, and businesses in our community to help WGC meet its financial and artistic goals as we continue to provide a high-quality music program for our singers. We appreciate your support!

• Applebee's Restaurant: Saturday May 12th is the date for our breakfast fundraiser at the South Salem Applebee's Restaurant. Timing for this event is 7:30 a.m. to approximately 10:30 a.m. Participation in this fundraiser is required for girls and parents who are involved in the summer tour to New Orleans. For every ticket sold, $2.00 will go into the girls' touring accounts. Participation is also required for all girls and parents who have received WGC scholarships this year. Additional parent volunteers are also needed to help run this event. Please look for sign-up sheets at this week's rehearsal, and see point person Jan Soper if you have any questions.
• NEW! Concert Program Advertisements: WGC is selling ad space in the program for our upcoming Pops Concert on May 20th. Please see the ad order form attached to this newsletter email. We would like to reach out to local businesses, organizations, or others who would be interested in advertising their product or service in our concert program. Cover space will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parents and families can also purchase ad space in the program to acknowledge their choir member's talents and accomplishments! Advertising order forms, artwork, and payment is due to WGC by May 7th. See the order form for specific details about ad sizes, rates, specs, and payments.

The Pops Concert is scheduled for May 20th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This year's theme is jazz, New Orleans style! Tickets will go on sale after spring break. Presale ticket prices are $12 for adults and 8$ for students/seniors. Tickets sold at the door will cost $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors. Entire tables that seat 8 will also be presold for $80. For more details, please inquire in the WGC office.

Don't forget to order your copy of the 2011 Holiday Concert! DVD's of the performance are available for $15.00 and CD's containing photographs of the concert are available for $10.00. Email us at: info@willamettegirlchoir.org to reserve your copies today (quantities are limited!). The DVDs and CDs should be available at the first rehearsal in January--you can pay for your reserved copies and pick them up that night in the office. Thanks, again, for a GREAT concert!
